Tennis Elbow is not actually an elbow problem. It is not a problem with the ligaments of the elbow, though they can become involved depending on your specific situation.

It's a 'problem' of the muscle, connective tissue, and tendon that attaches to your elbow bone. But people call it Elbow Tendonitis anyway.

What Causes Tennis Elbow?

Any activity that involves repetitive motion can cause tennis elbow such as knitting, hammering, etc.  Ironically only a handful of people develop tennis elbow from playing tennis.

Treatment for Tennis Elbow:

Before you can treat tennis elbow, you need to know how you developed it in the first place.  You must get to the “root” of the problem so to speak if you are to eliminate this type of tendonitis, as well as the associated chronic pain and inflammation that goes with it.
